i belive all ace mods share the same font lib, so if i have an ace mod that comes with its own font, theoreticly it should add it to the rest of the ace mods. this might explaine why you dont have the same list as me.

wap i would suggest moving the raid frames slightly up and to the right in that space above the pots and below the map. this way you can get slightly more space in the middle. iwould also get quartz casting bar (it shows you the latency delay so you know when to use stopcast commands to optemize dps. and if you want to save even more space i would get elk buff bars. you can arange your buffs any way you want in seprate groups (buffs, debuffs, timeless buffs, etc) and position them anywhere you want on the screen with any scale you like.

Ya, I tried to use quartz and the stop casting macro before but then I canceled my spell all the time because I pressed my key like 1 micro second early (I'm really bad at that T_T). So I gave up and use ecasting bar instead.

I also tried using elk buff bar just to look cool and to match my unitframe bar style, but for some reason, changing my buff/debuff icons to bar looking thingy didn't work out for me. I couldn't identify my buffs just by glancing at the bars, I mis-read my debuffs all the time. So after two days raiding like a noob, I switched back to the default icon style.

I also tried to use grid to show raid frame so that I can get more space but it doesn't do raid icons T_T. So now I have to use the raid frame from pitbull which I don't really like 'coz there's a bug (from Blizzard) that will crash my game if there are raid member changes. That's why you guys see me crashed my game more often since the last patch. Blizzard said the bug will be fixed in patch 2.1.3. I'll try to move my raid frame more to the side and see. Thanks FB! :P

1. you can trim your fubar such that it dont take up an entier line across the screen but take up only as much space as alocated to it (note my ss) this way you can move your ebb along with uf's slightly higher and move the fubar items in the top middle.
2. cooldown monitor is just taking up extra space on your screen, and i dont think its useful for you as a hunter (more for raid leads and such)
3. uf's taking up a ton of space. partialy due to them having portraits which are not really needed and probably use up extra resources. you can probably kill the boarder around them and trim some of the 'fat' out to yield more room in the end. right now they arnt very practical.
4. Spell not ready yet. Spell not ready yet. Spell not ready yet. Spell not r.. SON i gave you rogespam mod for a reason, to get rid of shit like that. (can send again if you lost it)
5. ebb. something i did with my ebb was seperated the buffs/debuffs in seprate catigories and placed them around my screen in a fitting manner. my debuffs were closer to where i keep my eye focused which is the middle. it dont take much work and can result in amazing results to help improve performance especialy spoting buffs / debuffs that you are missing quicker.
6. you have ctra tanks showing yet you have ora2 that will do the exact same thing. can drop ctra to save resources.
7. you can get rid of the Omen - Azgalor title since it will always be labeled as your current target to get slightly more space.
8. asuming thats squeenix map mod, i would enable the black boarders to match with the eepannel bar to give it a slicker look.
9. perhaps get rid of the boarder on eavesdrop to have it blend in the with eepannel more and get rid of the "Player / Target" tags, since you know which line is player and which is target, you can net gain an extra bar to see over constantly seeing something your awaire of.

let me know if you need help setting up anything that i had mentioned. hope some of the tips help. im going to put up an my updated ui perhaps later tonight. unfortunetly i have to go with utility and sacrefice some of the looks. :cry:

i'll prob do some of that stuff just to put my fps up a little higher but on the rogue spam mod. when the bt patch hit i accidently deleted all my mods so i lost rogue spam and the one i tried to get doesn't work. i'd appreciate if you did resend.

By the way if anyone is perplexed by my healing hotkeys... I really don't use them except for "5" which is max rank gheal and "7" which is PoH, which I mapped to X now. Everything else I bound to my mouse buttons or whatever

thats an old ui ss, right now i go anywhere from 17 to a max of 25 in raid.
a whopping 2 MiB is 4x of the 500 KiB that ag takes up still more then the 1.5 MiB that pitbull takes up. i had plenty of people with piss poor frame rate and high ram change their mods around and get anywhere from 3 to 10 fps increase. i aitn going to sit here and debate aesthetics, im simply bring out the point that there is deffinetly a correlation between MiB usage and framerate.

I can't switch certain mods because I am used to them, and they tell me more info than other mods do. X-perl raid frames tells me how many hots are up on each person, their buffs (this actually matters), if fear ward was used up, etc. You really can't tell with grid, can you? it just shows a green dot if they have hots (but how many?), and what about fear ward? what about shadow protection for maalakai on illidan?

Trying to figure out what I want to do with my chat windows/combat log. Something doesn't seem quite right yet with them, might change the size or position.

This is modified quite a bit from my older UI shots, basically I condensed some stuff in an attempt to be able to see more of my screen. Also, SW Stats will basically actually be hidden most of the time, I only open it after fights, etc.

Might also hide my action bars for a bit and see if I can still manage to tank without seeing the icons cooling down in that area being in my 'subconscious' info.

secure heres some suggestions. as far as freeing up some room i would first get "prat" it will help you with your chat boxes (ie hiding the scroll buttons and tabs etc)

i would filter out your cooldown count/chronometer (w/e that is) so that it wont display short/not needed buffs/debuffs such as bloodrage, shield slam, etc.

make a macro "/use Master Healthstone" for your healthstoens so you will only need one action bar beign taken up for all three (will jsut need to arange them i tneh order you will want to sue them first if you care)

get roguespam (i think errormonster does it aswell) so it will get rid of the red spam on top of the screen "Ability is not ready yet.

disable the header on omen since you know what you are targeting

filter out some of your action bars with not needed pots such as elixir of mastry and spells liek the two shield walls. ps if you use item rack you can pull out the trinket slots and have it work like trinket menu so its much simpler to play with.

get rid of your portrait on your own unit frame since you know how you look like

eavesdrop will help you read your combat log alot better since it alows you to filter out stuff you dont care about aswell as have icons of the spells so you can see a live incoming/outgoign source of damage

asuming thats ctraid, i would probably use perfect raid or pitbulls raid frames and configre them to display only what you want to see since rogues energy aint exactly a big concern here.

I have Prat, but I don't really use it at all, it's just there incase I ever learn how to use it, and the timestamps.

The point of the cooldown count is to see those cooldowns that you mentioned, since I would rather them be in that location than look at my action bar for them. And on that note, that's why I'm going to try hiding my action bars for a while and see if it's still fine, since everything is hotkeyed there anyway.

The Healthstone macro doesn't update properly the last time I tried it, it will often show it being grayed out even if you have a healthstone, and only updates if you like go in your bags and move them around, might have something to do with it being in your main bag. Either way, I tried it as recently as a month ago and it wasn't consistently working properly.

Yeah I used to have roguespam but forgot what the mod was, dl'ing it again for sure.

That's a Haste potion, not an elixir, that's why it's on my bar there. But I swap out a couple of the icons pretty frequently anyway depending on the situation/role.

I like to see my own portrait because 1) Warriors look awesome, and 2) there have been times where I looked at my portrait and realized I didn't have a certain piece of gear on, of the like 4 you can see from it, and equipped it!

I love my raid frames actually, and it's sRaidFrames, been using them for a loooong time. I have it set to show like as much information as possible, including debuffs that are incureable (but some I filter out, like Aura of XXX from Souls, or Prismatic shields, etc). The rogue energy even showing will help me realize even at a glance which rogue might actually be AFK, or doing something that isn't attacking. It's come in handy before.

I rar'd my UI due to some demand from my stealthy counterparts. I think I did it right.

I play at 1680*1050 so if you're on a different resolution, you'll probably have to move some stuff, change the size of texts, that sort of thing.
Most addons use the global profile, but you'll have to manually select my profile for:
- SCT
- Omen
- Bartender4
- Classtimers
- Grid

I think that's it. If not, tell me and I can figure out what else needs to be moved.

A few quick notes;
- I don't use focus frames at all, so if you need them for whatever reason in PvP, you'll have to turn them on in the pitbull4 modules. It's pretty easy to figure out and set them up the way you want.
- I'm pretty sure my proximo isn't set up at all because I haven't really pvp'ed much since we xfered to senjin.
- Pitbull casting bars are pretty buggy right now (no spell icon / half the time the bar doesnt show up, but you still get the name and time). I'll say something in this post when they finally fix them
- You have to edit the name of /wtf/account/account name/ to match your account
ex. /wtf/account/pinch/

Replace the bold numbers with the mount number associated with the mount you want. The first number is your ground mount, the second number is flying mount. This mount macro works everywhere. I found this macro, didn't make it. I forget where I got it from, but it's awesome since WotLK broke a lot of other mount macros.

Currently my "raid leader" raid frames track the buffs I'm responsible for (Fortitude, etc.), food buffs, flasks, and raid wide debuffs of interest (such as Weakened Soul, Biting Cold, Sanity).

I've tried Buff Check and RaidBuffStatus before, didn't find either more convenient than my current setup. But if you have a suggestion or two, I'm definitely open to a more space-saving approach.

Utopia debuffs are supposed to be on the opposite side of the cooldown timeline, it just doesn't show up for some fights due to being buggy. And as for the small boss timer bars... wanted them out of the way. Pretty big compromise I know...guess I'll live.

This isn't aimed any one person in particular, but I've always wondered how people can raid long periods of time with so many numbers and other shit all over their screen. Don't you get mentally fatigued with your brain trying to decipher all that crap on the fly? Over the years I've found minimalist UIs are the way to go so that you can not only focus on what's important (staying alive and doing damage/healing/threat/whatever), but also so your brain doesn't get tired after only a few hours of raiding from all this shit that's being thrown in your face all night. You'll be surprised how much the headaches and frustration get cut down the more you minimize your UI.

Don't see whats particularly wrong with non-combat stuff on the side, though the other stuff would be bad if its not keybound. Auto-attack bound to 1 is cute.

Except for the fact that last time I checked, Blood Tap, Empowered Runeweapon, IBF, AMS, Taunt, and Death Grip were combat related :rolleyes:

This is me telling you that is wrong, I would wager that almost every person in Premo has their unit frame and/or raid frames near the middle of the screen. Having your heath and resources in the far corner of the screen (especially on a large monitor) is a very bad thing.

Actually, those are buffs I tend to watch for certain abilities. :P

Watch them elsewhere when it matters, that is far too much screen real estate for what amounts to a minor DPS gain for a huge loss in your ability to see stuff like the fire you may or may not be standing in. Especially considering they are 100% opaque.

THERE could not be a better warning of the risks of getting involved with Italy’s national phone company: in late February Telecom Italia said an investigation into alleged large-scale tax fraud and money-laundering involving Sparkle, its wholesale voice and broadband unit, and a rival broadband firm, Fastweb, had forced it to delay the announcement of its 2009 results by a month. The pair are thought to have become embroiled in a scam orchestrated by the Calabrian mafia. Meanwhile, discussions about Telecom Italia’s future are coming to a head, with Telefónica, Spain’s leading operator, expected to play a crucial role.

In 2007, in the aftermath of two leveraged buy-outs which left Telecom Italia with a massive burden of debt, the government arranged for the Benetton family, Telefónica and a group of local financial institutions—Mediobanca, Intesa Sanpaolo and Generali—to take control of the operator. Telecom Italia’s controlling shareholder at the time, Pirelli, had been in serious talks about selling to America’s AT&T and Mexico’s América Móvil, but the government had wanted to keep Telecom Italia in national hands.

Pirelli lost more than €3 billion ($4.1 billion) on its stake in Telecom Italia, and the operator has proven a similarly disastrous investment for the present shareholders. The price of its shares has fallen by more than half since they took control due to declining revenues and concerns about its debt. That, in turn, has put pressure on the banks to write down their investment accordingly. They are now pushing for a drastic solution.

The most obvious exit, reckon some of the firm’s Italian shareholders, is for Telefónica to buy Telecom Italia, deepening an industrial partnership which has already yielded some €1.3 billion of synergies since 2008. Apart from its debt and some operational problems at its Italian mobile business that should not be too hard to iron out, Telecom Italia is in reasonable shape. It faces comparatively little competition at home, has healthy margins and cashflow, and owns a Brazilian business that would complement Telefónica’s. In fact, the Spanish firm’s chief aim when it invested in Telecom Italia in 2007 was to prevent América Móvil from winning a dominant position in Brazil.

Politically, however, selling Telecom Italia to a foreign company is probably still unacceptable. (Only one European telecoms incumbent, Sonera of Finland, has ever fallen into foreign hands.) Because Telecom Italia’s profits in both its fixed-line and its mobile business depend on regulation, good relations with the government are crucial. And Telefónica itself may be in no hurry to pounce on another European incumbent with weak growth prospects.

After weeks of intense speculation about a merger with Telefónica, therefore, a messy Italian solution now looks likely. Intesa Sanpaolo has reportedly suggested to Italy’s prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, that the government buy Telecom Italia’s fixed-line infrastructure, the most politically sensitive part of the business, ensuring it remains Italian and allowing the firm to pay down debt. The Brazilian mobile unit could also be sold.

If the government did buy the national network, Mr Berlusconi’s media company, Mediaset, could benefit, according to people close to Telecom Italia’s main shareholders. Mediaset, which currently relies on a conventional broadcast model, could strike a deal with the nationalised unit to start selling television via the latter’s broadband network.

Breaking up the firm along these lines would turn the rump of Telecom Italia into a customer-facing retail business. The company’s managers worry that shorn of its network, the firm would lose its competitive edge. They strongly oppose a break-up, as does Telefónica, although a dismemberment of Telecom Italia might give the Spanish firm opportunities to buy some or all of its component businesses. Telecom Italia, one of Europe’s pioneering telecoms firms in the 1990s, looks headed for an inglorious future.
